What is a woman’s true worth in life?

People, family members, friends, organisations, and even professionals will vow they know something about the true worth of a woman. I would grungily with a pinch of salt say “maybe”. No one knows the true worth of a woman other than LOVE.

A woman’s true worth is the measure of her person. Her worth goes beyond her biological composition, emotional state, or her mental intelligence. A narrow glimpse of a woman’s essence is incomparable to anything on earth. A woman is truly one of a kind.

We have for centuries failed in understanding and appreciating the worth of women. This abject lack is seen in our attitudes, behaviours, mannerisms, cultures, laws and legislations, governmental policies, and the erroneous practice of various religious directives towards women.

Let’s take a brief look at the true worth of women and our daughters.

Life on earth is empty without a woman.

We can bear to have nothing around us as a people and a community but not the absence of women. Our communities, family units, workplaces, organisations need the active presence and voice of women.

There is something so unique about women and our daughters that completes the circle of our communities. There is nothing wrong with an “all-boys club” but the members must have the voices and the nurturing care of a woman in their hearts. If not, be prepared for “war”.

No matter how beautiful a place or environment is, it is dull without the voice and contribution of a woman. No place, buildings, estates, waterfalls, mountains, the night skies, etc can replace the company, voice, and contribution of a woman. Women are not just an irreplaceable presence in our world, they are essential to its fullness or completeness.

Life on earth is empty without a woman. Life on earth is a hollow experience without women. There is something "solitary" in the description of our existence without the presence of women on earth. Women are not an "addition" to men as some would want us to believe. Women are not "essential parts" either. Women are unique persons whose presence is not just necessary and needful but an irreplaceable factor for life on earth.

Purpose becomes an unpleasant burden without a woman.

Purpose, we know is the reason for a thing or person. We adhere and respect the purposes of things and our environment, but unfortunately, that is not the case for women and our daughters. Because we refuse to learn or listen to what makes a woman, we woefully never arrive at ever knowing the worth of women and our daughters.

We are so far removed from the truth about the nature of women and that has grossly affected our understanding of a woman's worth, We see and treat women as persons that are different from men. Women are not different from men in their essence but very few accept this truth. We admit they are persons but then treat them as "less" than men.

We do not know and care very little to know the purpose of women. The result is our acceptance of society's subtle push to have women imitate, emulate and even behave like men. We enourage women to talk like, walk like and even act like men. Why? . To further a false narrative that "this is a man's world".

In making women look up to men, we reinforce the lie, that men are superior to women. Women in their essence are not diffrent from men yet women have a different purpose to men. A world without women is hollow, empty, and in a wise friend’s judgment “will never be good enough".

Men can undertake great tasks and accomplish great feats but if women were absent in our world, those final products would be “lifeless” and with no meaningful interaction with man himself. Nothing in life, not even nature, can produce what the unique voice and presence of a woman can bring to this table, called life.

A woman’s worth is priceless. Her essence, her person is so intricate that no one can truly know a woman. A woman is a secret, unraveled to become the only person that unveils the crowning piece on the table of life. Without a woman, our world would be a hidden and restricted arena of "unfulfillment".

A world with no help

Pride makes us believe we can live life without the voice or contributions of women and our daughters. Foolishness takes that erroneous thought further, when it says, “a woman has no place or purpose outside the dictates or judgments of men”. We are either so myopic and short-sighted or just plainly “ignorant” and bereft of truth.

Why would anyone advocate and insist we use “pigeons” instead of an email to deliver urgent and important messages. This obnoxious 'pigeon delivery' idea will score an 'A' grade when compared to how we see women and our daughters in our world.

We are self-centred and our opinions are at best blurred when it comes to the worth of women or our daughters. Our world is left without help in the absence of women.

Conclusion.

Nothing in this world can truly tell us what a woman is truly worth. How do you describe something you have never seen? What would you measure a woman against if all you have available to you are the voices and experiences of our world?

I know very few, if any, know the true worth of women and our daughters. We are willing to go to great lengths to give sweat and blood to rescue various endangered species in distant countries but will not consider or take to heart the issues of rape, sex slaves, or acid attacks on women and our daughters in those same communities.

How can we claim to know the true worth of women when our actions say otherwise? How do we sit comfortably in our houses and live with women in our communities and yet remain silent to their ill-treatment? This world is rotten and wrapped up in deception.

I salute the voice and patience of LOVE. We can only begin to appreciate a woman’s true worth when we pay attention to the words of LOVE.
